Daytime Activities

With San Francisco being the number one tourist destination in the Country, we know that many of you will already have your own plans for daytime activities on Saturday.  However, we have made a few arrangements to assist first-time visitors or those who are simply open to our suggestions.

Online event registration is now closed. Please direct all event registration inquiries to the TREX Convention Registration Desk setup at the Park 55 hotel. Thank you.

Alcatraz Island:  An Inescapable Experience

Once home to some of America’s most notorious criminals, the federal penitentiary that operated here from 1934 to 1963 brought a dark mystique to “the Rock.”  The presence of infamous inmates like Al Capone, and the “Birdman” Robert Stroud helped to establish the island’s notoriety.  To this day, Alcatraz is known as one of the world’s most legendary prisons.
